Kelley and Aaron's Wedding in North Carolina

Outer Banks, North Carolina.

Kelley and Aaron invited me to photograph their destination wedding in the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina. I had really been looking forward to this wedding because not only are Kelley and Aaron one of the nicest couples I've ever met, they are also one of the most gorgeous.

They invited a cozy number of people to stay in the same house and nearby and had the party spread over a few days rather than just one. I had a chance to spend a little time with some of the wedding party and guests and I was not surprised to see that Kelley and Aaron's family and friends were really cool people. The weather on the day of the wedding turned out to be absolutely perfect and the ending was one of the craziest I've witnessed yet. Best. Pool. Party. Ever.

Here are some of my favorites and be sure to check out the last couple of shots as it will give you an idea of how the wedding reception ended.

What's Been Keeping Me Busy

I apologize for not blogging much lately, I have so many shoots to post still. The reason is because Sen, my beautiful wife and assistant, is expecting in January and has been on ordered to bedrest by the doctor for the past few months and I've been needed more at home lately. That's also why I can't book any shoots in January, because I want to be here for the new addition to my little family.

She sneaked out for a few photos though. Here's Sen at eight months:

Amy and Shawn's Engagement Session at UCLA

Los Angeles, California.

I photographed Amy and Shawn's engagement session at a place familiar to me, UCLA. It was the first time I've been back since I've started photographing professionally and it was amazing how I see it so differently now. There were plenty of great locations to shoot at, and how fun it was to follow Amy and Shawn around the school. Amy has an infectious smile and is just friendly you can't help but smile when you talk to her, and Shawn is such a gentleman he compliments her perfectly. They also brought their adorable dog along for a few shots. I think by now everyone knows how much I love to photograph dogs.

Here are some of my favorites from the fun shoot. I can't wait to shoot their wedding at the Langham in 2009.

Elyse and Tim in Downtown Fullerton

Fullerton, California.

I had so much fun walking around Downtown Fullerton with Elyse and Tim. They are such a cute couple and are so in love. Not only do they look great together, but Elyse has the cutest dimples and Tim has nice blue eyes, a recipe for amazing photos. I have to thank Elyse for walking around in those heels. I know they hurt badly, but they look awesome in the shots.
