Christine and Family at The Lab in Costa Mesa

I've known Christine and Roy way before their first kid, and now they there's two! Two very adorable ones, I might add. Here is their adventure through The Lab:

Janette and Family

It's crazy how time flies, and I especially feel it when families come back to me for portraits as their kids get older. The last time I saw Janette's little boy, he was just one, and now he is four! Here are a few quick ones that I loved.

Mother's Day

There is not a more appropriate way to celebrate Mother's Day than with a moment between mother and child.

Baby Ryann and Family

Irvine, California.

Here are some of my favorites from a recent shoot with baby Ryann and gang for their Christmas cards. If you've been too busy or you were procrastinating, there's still time! Ask about my available dates that will allow me to get the digital images to you within three business days, just in time for the holidays.

Resa Maternity with Family

Resa was a referral from one of my favorite brides so I knew I was going to like her even before we met for the shoot. She and Max and Taye were great to work with just as I had expected. The lighting was perfect for the kind of shots I wanted to do and the little one ran around a lot; I always try to use kids' spontaneity to my advantage for fun photos. Here are some of my favorites:

Tuesday

Baby Hai Van and Family

Laguna Beach, California.

Baby Hai Van (prounounced haven) was the focus on the shoot, but we also wanted to get some portraits of the nice family together. Hai Van was so good during the entire shoot, smiling and being so adorable. At the end, you can see that she gets hungry and is gesturing for milk. I couldn't stop laughing while editing these photos because of her cute expressions.

Frederique's Family Portraits

You know you must be a loved teacher if your class gets together and buys you a portrait session. Frederique and her family is moving back to France after being here three years, and the class that she teaches thanked her with a family portrait session with us. They were so much fun to work with, especially the little ones. I hope that one day these photos will bring back fond memories of their time here in Orange County.
