Sneak Peek: Diane and Kris

This pair of wedding photographers and I ran around the Montage in Laguna Beach on a gorgeous day before finishing the shoot in Costa Mesa. They are so darn cute, the smile on their faces make me smile just by looking at the them. The silly Diane and Kris below:

Monday

Laguna Beach Engagement Session with Nina and Keiji

Laguna Beach, California.

With it raining a lot recently in Orange County, we caught a beautiful sunny day with Nina and Keiji in Laguna Beach on Valentine's Day. To say there were a lot of people at the beach that day would be an understatement. It was packed! With a little patience, however, we were able to take photos that look as if they had the beach all to themselves. Here are a few of my favorites:

Wednesday

Heather and John in Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach, California.

Heather and John had a cozy wedding reception at her parents' home in Laguna Beach. It was an intimate affair with just close friends and family. I personally know their family and they are simply as wonderful and hospitable as they come. Here are some of my favorites:

The best part of the night definitely had to be when the father of the bride, Lou, didn't even last five seconds into his speech before he broke into tears.

Tuesday

Amy and Oran's Engagement Session in Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach, California.

We had fun running around downtown Laguna Beach with Amy and Oran for their engagement session. We weren't sure if it was going to rain, but I love the spirit of a client who is willing to go for it even if it does. It didn't rain, but we got some fun, dry, and cute photos.

Amy says that Oran only has one smile. Although that might be true, I like to think that this was a bigger-than-usual smile with Amy's arms around him.

I love to be able to capture the natural smiles and laughs.

The cute looks they exchanged here are adorable.

The clouds were amazing that day.

Easily my favorite shot of the day. They had bought umbrellas in case it rained, and although it didn't, we made good use of it anyway.

Debbie and Victor's Engagement Session

Debbie and Victor wanted to do two locations for their engagement session; the park and the beach. I think it's a good contrast of a lot of greens versus a lot of blues,
so I never object when a client tells me that they want two locations for their shoot. In fact, we had a lot of fun and although they were nervous in the beginning, I was very happy when Debbie told me that they felt relaxed by the time we finished. I loved the results for the shoot in Irvine and Laguna Beach, as you can see below:
