Just a quick photo update of Maylin as she approaches her first birthday. She's truly the joy of my life and fatherhood has been even more amazing than I ever thought it would be.
I rarely get a Sunday off so I took the opportunity to get some quick shots of her, and when I say quick, I really do mean quick. Ten minutes and she's entirely bored of picture taking.

San Francisco Engagement Session with Meghan and Ken
San Francisco, CA.
As much as I love Orange County, I always love an opportunity to shoot elsewhere. I always tell my clients that a new location for me is akin to a child at a new playground; I get so excited at all the different possibilities for shots. So you can imagine how much I enjoyed shooting Meghan and Ken in San Francisco. As much as I like soft sunlight, I also like shooting on cloudy days. It has a different feel and to me it's even more romantic. We wanted to avoid the touristy areas and do something that focused more on them, yet still having a hint of SF. Here are some of my favorites:

A Malibu Wedding - Barbara and Zach
Malibu, California.
Barbara and Zach is one of those couples that you can't help but love as soon as you meet them. From the initial meeting all the way through to the end of the wedding, they were just really fun to be around. The venue at the Malibu Nature Preserve provided one of the most breathtaking views for a ceremony that I've ever seen, and that's just exactly how Barb and Zach had planned it. What I loved the most about photographing them is that they are so in love and it showed. Every kiss and every embrace was so genuine, and to be able to capture that emotion is why I love doing what I do.
